Quests

Salem RenFaire is taking place at Notch Brewing Salem, but in order to make the event feel a little bigger, we’ll have event tie-ins running all around Downtown Salem!

We have a Main Quest run by Intramersive, which requires the wristband you get for paid entry to the event at Notch Salem to play! This is exclusively for paid attendees and concludes with a group knighting ceremony at the end of the quest line. Pick up a quest card at Notch and head around town to the main quest locations to help select denizens of the realm and receive a token to put on your quest card by 4:30. Meet up at Charlotte Forten Park at 5pm for the knighting ceremony!

In addition, there are other locations of interest around town that are doing something special for the faire. Consider them side quests! These may have a cost associated with them but do NOT require a wristband/having paid to get into the main event!

    • Travel where two stairs become one Past the lions maw Beyond double door To find suit of armor from days of yore. There capture the moment before discovering what this warrior was guarding within.

  • Nocturne Salem: Medieval Merch

    • Nocturne has worked hard all month curating a collection of medieval goodies for you to peruse on the day of the faire. Check out the books, jewelry, stickers and more any maybe try a new scent while you’re there!

  • The Witch’s Gate - “The Witch’s Stones”

    • Stop by our shop on the 2nd floor of 1 Derby, directly above the magic parlour on Essex street to collect “The Witch’s Stones” and once you complete this side quest, you get a gift with purchase! It is $13 for the set and there are only 13 sets available. Follow their instagram page to stay up to date as there may be a 2nd sidequest that can pair with this one

  • Hive and Forge - Tea reading and pop up shop
